I'm an older person returning to college after many years, and was completely lost with these new systems that were required by my college. This book is a great resource tool. Everything you need to know, step by step, is listed clearly and plaining for navigating all the programs in 2007 Microsoft Office System.I did not know the programs at all, but with the help of this book, I was able to submit several assignments using Word and Powerpoint, and got great grades. Once I received this book, making great presentations and writing professional looking papers were a snap. I highly recommend this book for the beginner or the anyone using these programs.
The book is well organized and extremely easy to follow. The visuals are excellent and very helpful in following the learning as well as comparing to my own computer display.
I keep the book beside the computer at all times. Helped considerably in understanding all the new items. Illustrations were great. I'm in my 60's and found it's explanations extremely helpful since all I knew was 2003. I would recommend this book.
I thought the book was in excellent condition. It just wasn't what I expected. I wanted a book to help me with the Office System like how to use it. The cover makes it sound like it will be easy but it didn't help me to do things in Excel or Word like I wanted help with.
This reference book has not helped me figure out how to operate MS 07 any better than the built-in help provided by the software.
